PAST & PRESENT MEMBERS:

From the humble beginnings in 1988 in the North Shore area of East Houston to the present day, this ministry owes a debt of gratitude to Jehovah God who sustained us and to the excellent musicians, songwriters and ministers that HE brought our way. This "thing" was only supposed to last about 6 months, but it never stopped. Therefore, it is only fitting and proper that we list those who mean so much to this ministry...

OUR BACKSTORY 

 Blues2Joy began as a seven‑member Christian music ministry creating original, faith‑based songs in styles ranging from doo‑wop and ballads to R&B and reggae. Founded in 1988 by Ron Hathaway, Jim Massey & Scott Atkinson, the band launched as an outreach team, bringing the hope of Jesus into apartments, parks, shelters, jails, and prisons.

Later joined by Mike Wilson, Mike Pierce, Rob Harper, Robbie Adams, and Mike Huss, the group shared a unified calling: evangelism through contemporary, Christ‑centered music. With more than 45 years of combined experience, Blues2Joy has shared stages with artists such as B.J. Thomas, Bobby “Blue” Bland, and The Kingsmen.

The ministry partnered with churches, shelters, and correctional facilities while also reaching nontraditional audiences—refugee camps, motorcycle clubs, car shows, and drag‑racing events—carrying the same message that has defined them from the beginning: Hope in Jesus Christ.

Our ministry exists to put solid, trustworthy resources in front of anyone who is willing to seek God. Through focused teachings, webcasts, and curated links, we point people to Scripture that speaks directly to the challenges, questions, and crises of everyday life.

B2J Hope Radio.....

An Internet Radio Station that is more than music—it is a call to return to the only source of lasting hope: Jesus Christ. B2J Hope Radio streams from this site as an outreach to a world drowning in noise but starving for truth. Every song, resource & webcast is chosen to lift Jesus Christ high and confront the heart with His hope, His grace, and His call to follow Him.

Frisco Circle .....

Frisco Circle is a collaborative effort of the B2J Ministry Project providing "Music that extends the Circle" & Designed to reach people where they actually live, not where we wish they were. Through relationship driven ministry and a blend of Christian and positive secular music, Frisco Circle challenges listeners to consider faith, purpose, and the claims of Jesus Christ.
